Coco is a very nice little pony. He is about 10.2 hands. He was ridden at his previous home, many years ago, but he has not been ridden since he has been at the rescue. His former owners were going to put him down due to his founder issues. Luckily, someone intervened and brought him here instead. He was adopted out to a great home with a very good owner. Unfortunately, she had to bring him back this year (through no fault of Coco's.) So he is available for adoption again.

He requires a dry lot, just like any fat pony. Grass will cause him to founder. No exceptions. If you do not have a dry lot, please do not inquire about Coco. He does not founder or have any hoof problems as long as he is properly care for and gets regular trims.

Coco is easy to catch and handle. He loads great and stands well for the farrier. He does great with other ponies, donkeys, and horses. He's friendly and smart.

He could be a nice riding pony if someone were able to refresh him on the basics of riding. But he also makes a nice companion for another horse or pony. His adoption fee is $300.
